ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 39 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Public indecency, saggy pants on the 1100 block of Newton Road;
-- Armed robbery, an armed man entered an occupied car on the 500 block of Johnson Road, pointed his gun at the driver, stole cash from her purse and ran away;
-- Burglary on the 500 block of Ninth Avenue and the 2000 block of North Skylane Drive;
-- Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on the 100 block of Slappey Boulevard;
-- Theft by taking on the 600 block of 11th Avenue, the 2200 block of Greenoch Avenue and the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road;
-- Entering auto on the 1100 block of Whitney Avenue, the 900 block of 10th Avenue, the 100 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 400 block of North Jefferson Street;
-- Theft by deception on the 2300 block of Slappey Boulevard;
-- Simple battery on the 1800 block of Normandie Lane;
-- Deceased person on the 1400 block of Palmyra Road and the 1000 block of Moultrie Road;
-- Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 2400 block of Dawson Road and the 500 block of South Van Burin Street;
-- Motor vehicle theft on the 2900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
-- Assault (domestic) on the 300 block of South Mock Road and the 200 block of Slater King Drive;
-- Simple battery (domestic) on the 1200 block of Parker Avenue and the 1400 block of East Tift Avenue;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 1700 block of Malone Drive, the 900 block of Holloway Avenue the 700 block of Mobile Avenue and the 1100 block of Newton Road.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to nine incidents.
--Three unauthorized burns, two activated alarms, EMS assist, grass fire, tractor trailer tangled in power lines and a trash fire.
