ALBANY — The Albany Recreation and Parks Department, along with the Albany Police Department is hosting senior citizens — ages 50 and over — to the annual Christmas with Grandparents Day on Dec. 19.
The speaker will be Joshua W. Murfree Jr., superintendent of the Dougherty County School System. The program will begin at 11 a.m. at Lockett Station Community Center and will feature fun, food and entertainment.
The center is located at 324 Lockett Station Road, and is connected to Robert Cross Middle School. There is limited seating and advance registration is required for this free event.
