ALBANY UPDATE: As of 10 a.m. this morning, 1,947 voters had cast a ballot in Albany. The total number of registered voters within the city limits is 41,347.
Voting in Albany is now underway in two municipal run-off elections.
All 21 polling places are now open for voters to cast ballots for the city's next mayor and will remain so until 7 p.m.
Candidates B.J. Fletcher and Dorothy Hubbard are seeking the mayoral seat after being forced into a run-off after the November 8 election.
In Ward VI, voters will also be asked to select either Victor Edwards or incumbent Tommie Postell to fill the city commission seat.
Regardless of whether a ballot was cast on November 8, all eligible registered voters can vote.
Voters must present a photo ID prior to casting a ballot.
