This year, the Chehaw light show is outstanding. The trip through the park at night is awesome and rivals the light show at Callaway Gardens.
Our family, including our great-granddaughter, visited the park Friday evening to see the lights and visit Santa. Because the show includes many new lighted displays, I want to recommend a trip to experience the Chehaw Christmas lights show.
Included in the show is a visit to Santa's studio to see the old elf himself. This is no make-believe Santa with fake beard and hair. If you want to stay in Santa's good graces, don't pull on his beard because it will hurt him and he might not want to see you Christmas Eve.
So, save yourself a trip to Pine Mountain for a grand light show and visit the Chehaw light show instead.
