Look at it this way...she is already caught and to vote against it makes her look worse. She's doing damage control. Whether or not she voted isn't going to (or shouldn't) help her case one way or the other. She doesn't want to go down alone and this is a way to keep from actual finger pointing.

A teacher would be suspended if charged with a felony. So far, Bush's claim that he wants the School Board to regain credibility is just talk.
