Squawk of the day - Dec. 19, 2011

"Saturday morning the patrons at the Waffle House on Westover were treated to some Christmas joy. While eating breakfast there, the staff informed us that a customer had paid for everyone’s breakfast. Thank you to that unknown person. It is nice to know that there is still some kindness being shown around and you never know when you will be a recipient to an act such as this."

An act of random kindness so random I missed it again. Good for you!

Thank God for random acts of insanity.

Glad there are still nice people in this world.

It is ashame that acts of kindness have become the exception and not the rule. With that being said, however, I do not believe that kind acts are that random. We live in a world where sensationalism rules, especially in the media. Stories of good deeds never make the news, with the exception of the holiday seasons.
