Police/Fire/EMS - Dec. 22, 2011

ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 26 incidents Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Saggy pants, indecent exposure on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

-- Entering auto on the 1700 block of Avalon Avenue and the 500 block of South Magnolia Street;

-- Burglary on the 1300 block of West Lincoln Avenue, the 300 block of Elsom Street, the 500 block of North Jefferson Street, the 1400 block of East Second Avenue, the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 1500 block of Cordell Avenue and the 1200 block of Whispering Pines Road;

-- Theft by taking on the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

-- Forgery on the 1000 block of Oakridge Drive;

-- Terroristic threats and acts on the 1900 block of Turner Avenue;

-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 1000 block of West Mercer Avenue and the 300 block of East Broadway Avenue.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 11 incidents.

-- Three false alarms, an electrical short, a vehicle fire, burning tires, unsuccessful rescue of cat from tree, inspect worn electric wiring and advise resident, field on fire, assist EMS and unattended cooking fire.
