ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 26 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Robbery by force on the 500 block of Holloway Avenue;
— Reckless conduct, discharge of a firearm on the 2400 block of Nottingham Way;
— Financial transaction card forgery on the 2400 block of Gillionville Road;
— Forgery, a bogus $20 bill passed on the 1100 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Theft by taking on the 100 block of Seventh Avenue and the 2300 block of Bristol Road;
— Deposit account fraud, a bad check deposited on the 1300 block of Mobile Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 2000 block of Beachview Drive;
— Missing juvenile on the 600 block of Johnson Road;
— Unruly child, curfew violation on the 1600 block of Dorchester Road;
— Loitering and prowling on the 2100 block of Leonard Avenue;
— Burglary on the 1900 block of South Skylane Drive, the 2000 block of North Monroe Street and the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive;
— Simple battery (domestic) on the 1600 block of Cromartie Beach Drive and the 2600 block of Crossbow Drive;
— Domestic (unfounded) on the 2400 block of Jackson Street, the 200 block of West Tift Avenue and the 1400 block of West Gordon Avenue;
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 10 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
— Family violence (verbal) on the 6200 block of Newton Road.
LEE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE: The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to at least 54 calls.
— Assault (domestic) on the 100 block of Halifax Place;
— Vehicle crash on the 100 block of Highway 82, the 100 block of Philema Road, the 1600 block of Highway 19 and the 200 block of Walnut Avenue;
— Theft on the 100 block of Edgelake Drive;
— Fraud on the 1200 block of Highway 19;
— Trespassing to pick up pecans on the 100 block of Springdale Drive;
— Reckless driving on the 2800 block of Ledo Road and the 500 block of Highway 32;
— Animal call, deer injured on side of road on the 1000 block of Palmyra Road;
— Vandalism on the 100 block of Twisted Pines Court;
— Domestic on the 400 block of highway 82;
— Road hazard on the 1400 block of Highway 19.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 11 incidents.
— A natural gas leak in an alley, three EMS assists, two motor vehicle crashes, two electric shorts, three active alarms and a false alarm.
