How is Sherwood doing this year? Their scores are never in the paper and they don't update MaxPreps or any high school sports web sites.

Sherwood has played a few games. There has been some mention of them in the paper, but no headliner. I don't know if its the media or the coach not getting information to the media. SCA played in Byne's season opening tournament, and earned first place, beating a team from Valdosta in a very, very good game. They also played LaGrange twice. They lost the first game by 4 or 5 points, and won the second game at home by 1 points with a 2-3 seconds left in the game. It was a game in my opinion that should have had media coverage for this young small team, that is now under a different coach. SCA was able to pull off the win against a strong LaGrand team, with a 6' 8'' center all over them. But, no media was there, and not big write up in the Albany Herald. SCA also player Fulllington, and won, in another good game. SCA also player North Flordia Christian, where Coach Rutta the former SCA coach is now coaching. NFC has several D-1 and D-2 prospects on their team. SCA played well, didn't have the size, and lost. But, the experience was good for both team. The boys nor girls team have big power houses. The boys however, has speed, and they all have heart. All of these games have been non-region. But, I suppose when they begin to play region games, perhaps they will get some coverage. Oh yes, SCA will be playing in Southland Tournament beginning Wednesday -Friday. I do hope they do well.

Thanks Margie or Maggie or whatever you name really is. I thought Sherwood had just given up everyting that was sucking funding away from Making Millions in Movieland. So glad the kids still can play b-ball!
