My hope for you is that as this year comes to a close, you are able to look optimistically ahead to the new opportunities that await you.
I hope that you are able to take from your experiences, those good and not so good, and piece them together in a way that tells the story of who you are according to you. I hope that last year was the last year you gave power to others to decide how you should think, look, act or feel.
I hope that you are able to shed the layers that have been your false identity and emerge freer in your own skin. I hope that you are able to shut the door on the mistakes, mishaps, poor choices, and judgment of this past year and open the door to a new opportunity to do things differently. I hope that the labels others have tried to place on you, that do not fit for who you want to be, fall off.
It is my hope for you that you are able to take your first step toward your goals and dreams and grow more courageous and confident with each step that follows. I hope that as you prepare to enter the coming year, you do so expectantly. My hope for you is that what you want for your life and that which is your purpose become aligned, finally, so that you are able to move into what is meant for you. I hope that you are able to serve notice to fear and shame to find a new home because you are renovating the space they once occupied.
My hope for you now is that you are able to acknowledge your perfect imperfections and accept your humanness. I hope that you are able to look into the mirror and no longer see someone you don't recognize. It is my hope for you that as you enter the year ahead, you draw on the arsenal of resources (resilience, determination, and strength) you possess within you. I hope that you are blanketed in love that transforms you in the way only love can. I hope that you are able to give yourself permission to receive it and that you are so grateful that you give it back.
As this year comes to a close, I guess what I am trying to say is that I hope you have a Happy New Year! Be encouraged.
