ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 26 incidents Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Thefts by taking on the 700 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 1700 block of Oglethorpe Boulevard;
-- Entering autos on the 400 block of Sunset Lane and the 900 block of Sixth Avenue;
-- Burglaries on the 2600 block of Erica Court and the 600 block of Corn Avenue;
-- Financial transaction card fraud on the 2400 block of Doncaster Drive;
-- Disorderly conduct, a fight, on the 600 block of West Society Avenue;
-- Deceased persons on the 500 block of Whippoorwill Road and the 1200 block of Hobson Street;
-- Assaults (family violence) on the 2200 block of Tompkins Avenue and the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road;
-- Domestic disturbance (unfounded) on the 200 block of Marie Road;
-- Simple assault (domestic) on the 2200 block of Pearce Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 57 calls on Tuesday. There were 43 medical calls, 10 trauma calls and four other calls. Medical calls included six chest pains, two respiratory problems, vomiting, one diabetic complaint, two cardiac arrests, one mental problem, one choking, five miscellaneous pain calls and 25 various medical calls. Trauma calls included four vehicle crash injuries, two falls, an animal bite, an eye injury and two fights/assaults.
