ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 28 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- According to a police news release: Rebecca Kovach, 23, drove her red Dodge Caravan through a red light at about 6:46 p.m. going south on North Slappey Boulevard head-on into a black Ford Explorer driven by Christine Banks, 43, who was headed north while attempting a left turn onto Palmyra Road. Both drivers are from Albany. Kovack was cited for a red-light violation. Banks was treated and released from Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, a hospital spokeswoman said. Kovack was taken to Palmyra Medical Center, where a hospital spokesman said she was in stable condition at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
-- Forgery on the 2100 block of Lacksly Lane, the 2600 block of Dawson Road and the 600 block of West Roosevelt Avenue;
-- Burglaries on the 900 block of Easman Street, the 1100 block of East First Avenue and the 1800 block of Green Valley Lane;
-- Entering auto on the 900 block of West Second Avenue;
-- Child molestation in an alley behind the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
-- Thefts by taking on the 600 block of North Westover Boulevard, the 1000 block of West Fourth Avenue and the 800 block of North Jefferson Street;
-- Motor vehicle theft on the 300 block of Station Crossing Drive;
-- Three terroristic threats and acts on the 2100 and 2300 blocks of Clark Avenue involving rocks thrown at vehicles;
-- Terroristic threats and acts on the 100 block of the Liberty Expressway involving an object thrown at a vehicle;
-- Simple assault on the 300 block of West Second Avenue;
-- Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 300 block of Lexington Drive, the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 1300 block of East Roosevelt Avenue;
-- Battery (family violence) on the 300 block of Moultrie Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least five calls Wednesday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Domestic violence, an oral altercation, on the 1700 block of Lily Pond Road;
-- Traffic arrest on the 1400 block of Mock Road.
