ALBANY, Ga. -- One of the city's biggest praise and gospel entertainment events is set for Saturday at the Albany Civic Center as organizers prepare for upward of 3,000 people.

At least 13 acts were listed on the flyer for the event and Smith said that the event is consistently one of the city's largest and most well attended.

"This is a repeat show; they come year after year and it's quite popular," Smith said. "We usually get anywhere from 2,500 to 3,000 people and its a consistent crowd from all over the area."

Tickets for the event are $30 in advance and $35 at the door and can be purchased through ticketmaster or by calling the Civic Center Box Office at (229) 430-5204.

The event will cap a busy weekend downtown and throughout the city.
