ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 20 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Identity theft on the 2400 block of Gillionville Road;
-- Motor vehicle theft on the 2200 block of Gillionville Road and the 2000 block of Tompkins Avenue;
-- Carjacking, a man gave up his car at gunpoint on the 1900 block of Madison Street;
-- Criminal trespass on the 1600 block of McArthur Street, the 2500 block of Beachview Drive, the 100 block of Baldwin Drive, and the first block of Patricia Drive;
-- Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 1500 block of South Madison Street;
-- Burglary on the 2200 block of South Washington Street;
-- Simple battery on the 800 block of Swift Street;
-- Theft of services on the 700 block of North Westover Boulevard;
-- Missing juvenile on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue, the 700 block of West Highland Avenue and the 300 block of South Jackson;
-- Simple assault (family violence) on the 100 block of Liberty Expressway.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 22 calls, including a cardiac arrest, five activated alarms, an extrication of victim from a crashed vehicle with spreader tool, smoke odor, vehicle fire, overheated clothes dryer, safe house program, station tour for children, two vehicle crash washdowns, a vehicle crash, three EMS assists, phone line down, oil spill covered with sand, family room fire with $500 damage and smoke from a barbecue grill.
