ALBANY, Ga. — An Albany man died after he lost control of his pickup and it smashed into a tree in Baker County, according to Georgia State Patrol reports.

Curtis Hudson Jr., 40, died after losing control of his GMC Sierra pickup on a Baker County road. Hudson’s pickup left Colquitt Ford Road on the south side, traveled about 45 feet and smashed into a tree, a Georgia State Patrol spokeswoman said.

Hudson, of the 6100 block of Hardup Road, was not wearing a seatbelt, the spokeswoman said. No alcohol or drugs were reported involved in the crash, she added. There were no passengers in the pickup.
