ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 57 incidents Friday into the early hours of Saturday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Arson in the second degree. According to reports a purposely set fire ripped through the abandoned Zion Pure Life Church at about 11 p.m. Friday on the 1200 block of Creamer Street;
-- Theft by taking on the 300 block of West Tift Avenue, the 200 block of North Madison Street and the 1700 block of West Wooddell Avenue;
-- Terroristic threats and acts on the 2300 block of Clark Avenue;
-- Injured person on the 500 block of Ninth Street;
-- Entering auto on the 100 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the 1000 block of South Madison Street and the 1300 block of Whitney Avenue;
-- Obstruction of a law enforcement officer on the 1200 block of West Fourth Avenue;
-- Theft of mislaid property on the 1800 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
-- Burglary on the 500 block of Mitchell Avenue, the 900 block of Holloway Avenue, the 1400 block of Van Buren Street and the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;
-- Reckless conduct on the 2000 block of Clark Avenue;
-- Robbery by force on the 300 block of Acorn Street;
-- Robbery by snatching on the 300 block of Cordele Road;
-- Drunken driving on the 2400 block of Sylvester Road and the 2000 block of Slappey Boulevard;
-- Runaway juvenile, who returned home at 5 a.m. on the 400 block of Wadkins Avenue;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 1000 block of West Whitney Avenue, the 200 block of Cone Street, the 3000 block of Harvest Lane, the 2700 block of West Oakridge Drive, the 1200 block of Newton Road, the 800 block of North Davis Street, the 200 block of Sunrise Drive, the 2000 block of Pearl Avenue, the 600 block of West Society Avenue and the 2000 block of West Riverview Circle;
-- Assault (family violence) on the 2400 block of Bassford Lane and the 1300 block of West Highland Avenue;
-- Domestic (violence) on the 500 block of Mitchell Avenue;
-- Assault, theft (family violence) on the 600 block of Sands Drive.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 27 calls, according to police reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
-- Traffic arrest for suspended license on the 4500 block of Sylvester Road;
-- Drunken driving and outstanding warrants for deposit account fraud on the driver of a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe that ran a red light at East Oglethorpe Boulevard and Liberty Expressway. The passenger was arrested for having less than an ounce of marijuana and on an outstanding probation violation warrant;
-- Two vehicle crashes at 11:23 p.m. Friday involving deer on the 3200 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. In one crash a vehicle traveling south on the drive hit a deer that came from the road's west shoulder. In the other crash the vehicle traveled north on the drive and hit a deer that came from the east shoulder of the road.
-- Vehicle crash on the 1200 block of Williamsburg Road. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway, hit a ditch and rolled on its side. The driver ran away. Charges are pending.
-- Vehicle crash on the 4000 block of Radium Springs Road.
