The jackpot-splitting Mega Millions tickets were sold in Idaho and Washington state.
However, five Georgia players matched the first five numbers drawn -- 4, 8, 15, 25 and 47 -- but not the "Mega Ball," which was 42. Those players, along with 62 players in 21 other states, each won the second-place prize of $250,000.
With Tuesday's winner, the jackpot for Friday's drawing was reset to $12 million.
The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball multi-state lottery is $34 million.
