ALBANY, Ga. -- Calling it a "Formula for Success" the Albany Police Department's AmeriCorps staff plans to offer career assistance starting at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The event offering job preparation and job search assistance will be in the Law Enforcement Center's Community Room at 201 Oglethorpe Blvd. and will last until 2 p.m.
Representatives from Albany Technical College, Darton College and Albany State University also plan to offer their expertise. Recruiters from the Albany police will be there to help.
The event is scheduled to offer tips on career counseling and guidance. skill assessments, resume writing , networking, business etiquette, interviewing and GED assistance.
