Police/fire/EMS - Jan. 9, 2011

ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 30 incidents Friday into the early hours of Saturday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Motor vehicle theft on the 400 block of South McKinley Street and the 1000 block of East fourth Avenue;

-- Burglary on the 500 block of Moultrie Road, the 2500 block of Hilltop Drive, the 800 block of Goodall Avenue and the 800 block of Wylie Street;

-- Theft by taking on the 500 block of Pinson Road and the 300 block of Foundation Lane and the 1500 block of Webb Street;

-- Battery on the 700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

-- Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 500 block of West Highland Avenue;

-- Entering auto on the 900 block of Jeffries Avenue and the 1200 block of west Third Avenue;

-- Motor vehicle stolen from Florida recovered on the 900 block of West Society Avenue;

-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 1900 block of Riverview Circle, the 1000 block of East Fourth Avenue, the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive, the 800 block of North Davis Street and the 3100 block of Graystone Lane;

-- Aggravated assault (domestic), a possible stabbing on the 300 block of Flintside Drive;

-- Assault (domestic) on the 1700 block of Malone Drive;

-- Assault (family violence) on the 500 block of Louis Avenue.


Albany firefighters responded to 19 calls including:

-- Structure fire in a bathroom with $1,000 in damage, two cardiac arrests, six EMS assists, four activated alarms, two grass fires, an arcing electric stove and a false alarm.
