ALBANY, Ga. -- The Albany Police Department responded to at least 34 incidents Saturday and Sunday, according to available reports. Officers responded to:
-- Simple battery on the 400 block of Whipoorwill Road and the 50 block of Dobbs Drive;
-- Entering an auto on the 100 block of Seventh Avenue;
-- Assaults on the 100 block of East Road and the 4000 block of Gillionville Road;
-- Burglaries on the 700 block of Lippit Drive and the 600 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
-- Criminal trespass on the 900 block of Holloway Avenue and the 1100 block of Lee Street;
-- Theft by taking on the 200 block of Butler Drive;
-- Simple battery (domestic violence) on the 1300 block of East Residence Avenue;
-- Possession of less than one ounce of marijuana on the 1300 block of Hobson Street;
-- Assault, vandalism, on the 900 block of West Highland Avenue;
-- Driving with a suspended license on the 2300 block of Dawson Road;
-- Driving under the influence on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
-- Domestic dispute on the 600 block of West Second Avenue;
-- Disorderly conduct on the 1200 block of Vandeman Street and the 2700 block of Dawson Road;
-- Robbery by force on the 700 block of West Highland Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least nine calls Sunday. Incidents included:
-- Criminal trespass on the 700 block of the Liberty Expressway;
-- Traffic accidents at Georgia 234 and Manchester Drive and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Story Road.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty EMS responded to 55 calls on Sunday. There were 40 medical calls and 15 trauma calls. The medical calls included three for chest pain, four for respiratory issues, one fainting incident, one diabetic call, three seizure calls, one OB/labor call, two miscellaneous pain calls, two calls for possible stroke symptoms and 23 various medical calls.
The 15 trauma calls consisted of six auto accident victims, six falls and three fights.
