ALBANY, Ga. -- Officials are investigating another infant death.
On Sunday afternoon, a 4-month-old boy was found unresponsive at 529 Dorsett Ave., Apt B, at about 1:30 p.m.
A report on file at the Albany Police Department says that an officer was called out in reference to a cardiac arrest. The report gives no indication that foul play was involved.
"We are not ruling it as a homicide," Dougherty County Coroner Emma Quimbley said.
The baby's body is on its way to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's crime lab for an autopsy. The Dougherty District Attorney Child Death Team is involved with the investigation.
The Child Death Team responds to any report of a juvenile death to determine whether it was a natural death, an accident or the result of some criminal act.
