1.) Monroe, 15-3
The Tornadoes lost to Cairo, then bounced back to beat Westover and Class AAAA Colquit County and Lowndes, holding those teams to only 120 points. Next: Vs. Americus-Sumter, Friday, 7:30 p.m.
2.) Terrell County, 13-1
The Greenwave moves up after beating Westover by nine points on Saturday. Terrell County is romping past region teams and has lost only to Monroe. Next: at Calhoun, Friday, 7:30 p.m.
3.) Bainbridge, 14-2
The Bearcats have won 11 in a row, but have not won any games against any of the Top 5 teams, and slip because of Terrell County's big leap this week. Next: at Randolph-Clay, tonight, 7:30 p.m.
4.) Westover, 10-6
It was a brutal weekend for the Patriots who lost to Monroe, 42-37, Friday in front of 3,000 at the Civic Center and then fell at Terrell County on Saturday. Next: at Americus-Sumter, tonight, 7:30 p.m.
5.) Dougherty, 7-2
The Trojans have lost only to Monroe and Westover, beat Americus-Sumter, 58-51, but drop as Terrell County's leap shakes up the poll. Next: vs. Worth, tonight, 7:30 p.m.
