ALBANY -- Albany police responded to at least 21 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Theft by taking on the 100 block of South Jefferson Street;

-- Simple battery on the 300 block of McCray Avenue;

-- Criminal damage on the 3600 block of Mayfair Lane;

-- Criminal trespass on the 1400 block of North Washington Street;

-- Disorderly conduct, a fight on the 800 block of West Residence Avenue;

-- Wanted person, probation violation warrants on the 500 block of West Highland Avenue and the 1200 block of Wingate Avenue;

-- Threats (domestic) on the 600 block of Harman Avenue;

-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 400 block of South McKinley Street and the 1200 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

-- Cruelty to children (family violence) on the 2200 block of Cutts Drive;

-- Assault (family violence) on the 2100 block of West Gordon Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least five calls, according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

-- Theft of more than $200 worth of fishing gear and a weed trimmer on the 700 block of Henson Drive;

-- Animal cruelty, a cat was poisoned by antifreeze on the 500 block of Pine Bluff Road.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 60 calls on Wednesday. There were 54 medical calls, four trauma calls and two other calls. Medical calls included seven chest pains, seven respiratory problems, one fainting, two diabetic complaints, three seizures, one obstetrics, four mental problems, five miscellaneous pain calls, one choking and 23 various medical. Trauma calls included two falls and two lacerations. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.

ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 14 calls, including four activated alarms, an overheated air conditioner, two trash fires, unattended cooking, an electrical short, clothes dryer on fire, residential structure fire resulting in $13,000 in damages, smoke odor, gas odor and an overturned tractor-trailer.
