ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 30 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available police reports. Police responded to incidents including:
-- Burglary on the 900 block of Mobile Avenue, the 2200 block of Gillionville Road, the 1400 block of 10th Avenue and on the 200 block of North Magnolia Drive;
-- Entering auto on the 1700 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 300 block of Pine Avenue;
-- Motor vehicle theft on the 400 block of South Audubon Drive;
-- Theft by taking on the 400 block of North Madison Street and the 200 block of Thornton Drive;
-- Criminal interference with government property on the 400 block of West Tift Avenue;
-- Robbery by force on the 1300 block of Lee Street;
-- Drunken driving on the 1200 block of West Broad Avenue and the 400 block of West Oglethorpe; Boulevard;
-- Battery (family violence) on the 1500 block of Whiting Drive and the 2400 block of Eugemar Drive;
-- Simple battery (family violence) on the 400 block of Dunes Avenue and the 3100 block of Fernridge Drive;
-- Assault (family violence) on the 100 block of Wescott Lane;
-- Simple battery (domestic) on the 500 block of Cordele Road;
-- Domestic (unfounded) on the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive and the 200 block of Hillside Drive.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Emergency medical services responded to 39 calls on Thursday. There were 39 medical calls, 10 trauma calls and three other calls. Medical calls included, eight chest pains, five respiratory problems, nausea vomiting, one diabetic complaint, three seizures, three obstetrics, one mental problem, one miscellaneous pain call, one cardiac arrest, two stroke symptoms and 14 various medical. Trauma calls included two vehicle crash injuries, six falls, one laceration and one fights/assaults. Other calls are typically standby for other units and patient transport.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 30 calls including:
-- Three EMS assists, six activated alarms, smoke in pickup cab, two fire extinguisher classes, two vehicle fires, five electrical shorts, a propane gas leak, two false alarms, a cable line down, three public service calls, tree on a power line, a trash fire, a smoke scare and fire in an arcing electric panel box.
