1.) Monroe 18-3

2.)Bainbridge 19-2
The streak has now reached 16 games and the way they are playing of late it's possible the Bearcats may not lose another game this year. Next: vs. TCC, tonight, 7:30 p.m.
3.) Terrell County 16-2
The Greenwave made another statement Saturday beating Westover, 60-48, but they must face Monroe at home on Saturday in a huge showdown. Next: vs. Quitman, tonight, 7:30 p.m.
4.) Dougherty 9-5
The Trojans are back in the Top 5 after beating Westover on Tuesday and edging Albany, 62-60, at the Civic Center Saturday. Now comes No. 1 Monroe. Next: vs. Monroe at Civic Center, tonight,7:30 p.m.

Recent losses by Americus-Sumter put the Lady Patriots back on top, but they'll have to defend it Feb. 11 when No. 1 and NO. 2 meet. Next: vs. Crisp County, Wednesday, 6 p.m.
2.) Americus-Sumter ................................................15-3
The Lady Panthers drop after losing two of their last four games, falling to Monroe and Lee County, and will meet Westover again on Feb. 11. Next: vs. Crisp, tonight, 6 p.m.
3.) Bainbridge............................................................15-5
They've won seven in a row and seem to be playing better every night with April Thomas and Bria Harris leading the way. Next: vs. TCC , tonight, 6 p.m.
4.) Dougherty................................................................13-6
It was a tough week for the Lady Trojans, who lost to Westover and Crisp before beating Albany High on Saturday. Next: vs. Monroe at the Civic Center, tonight, 6 p.m.

The Lady Hornets are the class of Class A and could give Pelham the home court in the upcoming Region 1-A tournament in two weeks. Next: vs. Atkinson, tonight, 6 p.m.

Banks Kinslow,
Deerfield Windsor guard on teammate Ramello Carter, who opened the Sherwood game with a 9-0 run before finishing with 33 points. Kinslow scored 30 in the 90-48 win at Sherwood, where Kinslow's grandmother was in the stands.
By the numbers

The number of points DWS' Ramello Carter (33) and Banks Kinslow scored against Sherwood on Friday. They combined to score 50 against SCA on Jan. 11 as Carter scored 30 and Kinslow scored 20. That's a 113 point combo.

Number of points Monroe defeated Worth County by on Friday as the Tornadoes avenged an earlier loss to the Rams with a 70-51 win. Worth beat Monroe by 19 points (78-59) on Jan. 4.
