ALBANY, Ga. -- Albany police responded to at least 55 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:

-- Animal at large on the 2200 block of Jackson Street;

-- Two inhumane treatment of animal calls on the 200 block of Cone Street and one on the 1000 block of North McKinley Street;

-- Entering autos on the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road, the 1200 block of Seventh Avenue, the 2000 block of Clark Avenue, the 1300 block of Avalon Avenue and the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;

-- Burglaries on the 1400 block of Jackson Street, the 600 block of Moultrie Road, the 600 block of Johnson Road and the 1300 block of 11th Avenue;

-- Forgery on the 2600 block of Sylvester Road;

-- Disorderly conduct, fight, on the 600 block of West First Avenue;

-- Thefts by taking on the 1700 block of West Oakridge Drive and the 1500 block of West Second Avenue;

-- Battery on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue and the 200 block of Telfair Avenue;

--Aggravated assault on the 1300 block of Van Buren Street;

-- Assault (domestic) on the 400 block of Cedar Avenue;

-- Vandalism (domestic) on the 1600 block of Devan Drive and the 700 block of West Society Avenue;

-- Domestic disturbances (unfounded) on the 3100 block of Fernridge Drive, the 2200 block of South Jackson Street, the 600 block of Westover Boulevard, the 300 block of South Mock Road, the 700 block of Wheeler Avenue and the 400 block of Heard Avenue.

LEE SHERIFF: Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies responded at least 32 calls Wednesday. Deputies responded to calls including:

-- Vehicle crash on the 2800 block of Ledo Road and the 100 block of Miller Road;

-- Juvenile problem on the 100 block of Doris Drive;

-- Two entering autos on the 200 block of Kinchafoonee Creek Road and one each on the 300 block of Stocks Dairy Road and the 100 block of Lynwood Lane;

-- Multiple entering autos on the 500 block of Flowing Well Road;

-- Road hazard on the 900 block of U.S. Highway 19 South;

-- Burglary on the 100 block of Kelly Court;

-- Animal cruelty on the 100 block of Winding Way Road; dog left tied up with no food or water for four days;

-- Runaway juvenile on the 100 block of Miller Road;

-- Fight on the 100 block of Edwards Road;

-- Abduction on the 1100 block of U.S. Highway 82;

-- Domestic disturbance on the 700 block of U.S. Highway 82.

ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to 12 calls Thursday, including two grass/brush fires, motor vehicle crash, coolant leak, unattended cooking, two activated alarms, two public safety programs, a fire station tour, EMS assist, Albany Police Department assist and a false alarm.
