ALBANY, Ga.: B.J. Fletcher, one of three people to have publicly announced a run to become the city's next mayor, will have an online question-and-answer session with area residents tonight.

The session will start at 7 p.m. on Fletcher's campaign website, bj4mayor.com. Questions can also be submitted via e-mail to teamfletcher@bj4mayor.com

Fletcher, a prominent figure in Albany's business community, is running for the seat which is being vacated by outgoing mayor Willie Adams. Albany City Commissioner Dorothy Hubbard and small-business owner Kirk Smith have also announced intentions to seek the office.

For state representative John White is also expected to announce his intentions to run for mayor as early as this week.
