ALBANY, Ga. -- A wig-wearing gunman is wanted for robbing two stores and shooting at a witness, said a Dougherty County Police Department detective.

No one was injured in the robberies, but Detective Chad Kilpatrick said that despite wearing a woman's wig, the robber is armed and dangerous.

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of 19-year-old Tyrafred "Ray-Ray" Campbell for two armed robberies and aggravated assaults that occurred about 10 p.m. Monday, Kilpatrick said. Within about seven minutes, a gunman robbed the Pitt Stop at 3225 Sylvester Road and then hit the Fast Lane store at 3000 Sylvester Road, Kilpatrick added.

While leaving the Fast Lane, a witness in his car yelled at the bandit, Kilpatrick said. Campbell fired two shots at the witness, but missed both the witness and his car, he added.

According to reports, the robber ran out of the Pitt Stop with $1,277 in cash and away from the Fast lane with $303.

Campbell's last known address of residence was 3016 Woodbridge Court.

Any patrons in the convenience store are victims of the crimes, Kilpatrick said. He asked that they call the police to get assistance.
