The Miss GA South pageant is set for Sept. 10 in Adel. A preliminary for the Miss GA USA and Miss GA Teen USA pageants, the Adel contest is open to females birth to 26 years old who live, work or attend school in Georgia. The pageant has competition in eight age groups: Baby, birth to 23 months; Teeny (2-3 years); Tiny (4-6); Little (7-9); Young (10-12); Junior (13-15); Teen (16-18), and Miss (19-26). Teen and Miss contestants compete in interview, swimsuit and evening gown. Prizes include paid entry fees for the Miss and Junior winners in the Miss GA Teen USA pageant, along with preparation and training for the statewide contest.
