COLUMBUS, Ohio -- One week after flirting with his first Nationwide Tour title, Albany's Josh Broadaway is at it again.
Broadaway, who graduated from Byne Christian and played college golf at Troy, is tied for fifth place heading into the weekend of the Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational in Columbus, Ohio. He shot a 4-under 67 Saturday to give him a two-day score of 135 and put him four shots behind leader John Peterson, who also shot a 67 Saturday.
If not for a bogey on his final hole Friday, Broadaway would have entered today's round tied for third place.
In Friday's round, Broadaway had one eagle -- on the par-5 12th -- five birdies and three bogeys.
Broadaway led last week's Chiquita Classic at the TPC River's Bend Course in Cincinnati after two days before losing the lead Saturday to eventual-winner Russell Knox.
Broadaway finished tied for fifth in the Chiquita Classic.
