ALBANY, Ga. -- A fight at Big Daddy's Lounge and Club eventually landed someone in the hospital.

The altercation started just before 2 a.m. Tuesday inside the club, which is at 300 E. Broad Ave. Early on, there wasn't much that the Albany Police Department knew -- except that it had involved two groups of women who were fighting in the club.

"Security put them out and they continued to fight outside in the parking lot," said Phyllis Banks, spokeswoman for the APD. "At some point, three females got into a SUV and ran over (or struck) a fourth female, possibly twice."

Witnesses were taken to the APD Law Enforcement Center in downtown Albany for questioning immediately following the incident, and the victim was transported to an area hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.

The four individuals involved in the incident, who are being charged with affray, were Courtney Wallace, 20, Satoya King, 25, Carmen Washington, 19, and Tara Washington, 23.

In a Tuesday afternoon update, the APD revealed the victim was Tara Washington. She was transported to the hospital by personal vehicle after being struck by the SUV -- confirmed by authorities to be a white Ford Explorer -- and released after being treated for her injuries.
