NEWTON, Ga.: The autopsy of a Calhoun County man found dead in nearby Baker County Thursday showed he died from a gun shot, GBI officials say.
William Flake, 32, was found dead in a car off of Milford Church Road by a passing motorist Thursday morning.
GBI Special Agent-in-Charge Kim Baker said Friday that after Flake's body was autopsied, agents believe he died from a single gunshot wound.
When asked whether the GBI was treating the matter as a suicide or a homicide, Baker said they are investigating the incident as a homicide.
