COLQUITT -- The Colquitt-Miller Arts Council is presenting Swamp Gravy's "The Big Picture" through March 26.
Showtimes will be Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 p.m. Two showtimes are set each Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
"This year's Swamp Gravy production takes Colquitt's theme of telling local stories to a whole new level by bringing our murals to the stage," said Jennifer Trawick, Colquitt/Miller Arts Council executive director.
The murals of Colquitt have plenty to say to its audience. For more than a decade, the Millennium Mural Project has been taking vivid stories of the area and putting them up on walls all over town, bringing another dimension to the portrait begun by Swamp Gravy. Theatergoers will quickly discover there is more to these murals than meets the eye, as Swamp Gravy brings them to life on their stage in "The Big Picture."
"The Big Picture" is directed by Gerard Stropnicky, and written by Debra Jones, Jo Carson and Jules Corriere. Contact, (800) 514-3849 or www.swampgravy.com for more details.
