ALBANY, Ga. -- The Exchange Club of Albany has made donations to two local agencies, including a check for $11,000 to Open Arms Inc.
"It is truly blessed to have the Exchange Club taking such good care of us," said Fonda Strong, executive director for Open Arms, which serves abused, homeless, runaway and neglected children.
Also during Friday's Exchange Club meeting, the club gave $500 to support the Dougherty County Special Olympics organization.
