ALBANY, Ga. -- A former Westover High School teacher already facing pandering charges for soliciting sex from teens, has been charged with five additional felony counts and has been granted a $21,000 bond, court officials say.
Reastgo Holmes, 38, has resigned his position as a teacher at Westover High School, Dougherty District Attorney Greg Edwards said.
Five additional warrants were filed Monday against Holmes, who had already been charged with pandering for allegedly attempting to purchase sex from a 17-year-old girl.
Edwards said Monday that Holmes is to be charged with two counts of enticing children and three counts of pandering with a total of three victims.
Holmes' attorney, Johnny Graham, said that Chief Superior Court Judge Willie Lockette ordered Holmes released on a $21,000 property bond Monday and placed on electronic house arrest on "locked-down" status, meaning he is forbidden to leave his property.
In what Edwards called an "anomally," Holmes was given a bond hearing prior to the warrants being served Monday afternoon.
Holmes is also to stay away from any private or public schools.
