TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Tickets are still available for tonight's second performance of the global smash "Mamma Mia!" at the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center.

Seen by more than 45 million fans the world over, "Mamma Mia!" is based on the wildly popular songs of the Swedish supergroup Abba. The theatrical production, written by Catherine Johnson and directed by Phyllida Lloyd, is in its 10th smash year and is celebrating this year topping the 3,800-performance plateau.

Pop music fans will recognize such chart-topping Abba songs as "Dancing Queen," "S.O.S.," "Money, Money, Money" and "Take a Chance on Me" during the production, which is choreographed by Anthony Van Laast.

"Mamma Mia!" is the story of independent single mother Donna, who owns a hotel on a Greek island. Donna's daughter, Sophie, is about to be married, and she's invited three surprise guests to the wedding. The three are men from Donna's past, and Sophie hopes to discover which of them is her father.

Tickets for the performance, which starts at 7:30 p.m., range in price from $15 to $76. They're available at the Civic Center box office at 505 W. Pensacola St., or at all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets may be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at (850) 222-0400 or (800) 322-3602.

"Mamma Mia!" is the fifth show of the TLCCC's 2010-11 Broadway Series. The final show in the series is "Monty Python's Spamalot."

Civic Center officials also announced recently that comedian Kevin Hart will bring his "Laugh at My Pain" tour to the venue for a single performance April 16.

Tickets are available at the outlets listed above for the 8 p.m. show, which is for mature audiences.
