LEESBURG. Ga. -- A cyclist was injured about 9 p.m. Tuesday in a hit-and-run incident on Old Leesburg Road, just north of the Dougherty County line.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, the unidentified injured rider was taken to a hospital. It was unclear whether the man had been riding a bicycle or a motorcycle.
The case was being handled by the Georgia State Patrol. No information was immediately available from troopers.
