Christians can rock with fashion

ALBANY -- The Center of Refuge Church will be hosting the first ever Christian Hip Hop Fashion Show: Christ Rocks! at 7 p.m. Saturday at Center of Refuge's Event Center, 2405 Lily Pond Road.

This event will include live entertainment, free food and vendors from Southwest Georgia who specialize in vintage/couture clothing, designer shoes/handbags and more.

The show's purpose is to show that living a Christian life is not a boring lifestyle.

"It is time to start unmasking the heart in order to accept people where they are in society," said Sabrina Jefferson, vision leader. "Therefore, my vision is to show people you can still be saved, live an enjoyable healthy lifestyle. Christians don't have to be categorized or put into a box based upon your outer appearance."

Tickets are $10 and the doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
