ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department responded to a number of burglaries over the weekend, including two at area businesses.
At Classon Concrete, at 1531 Greenvale Road, there was a break-in reported at 2:40 a.m. Sunday — which might have happened as early as 6 p.m. the night before.
Forced entry was achieved into the business through the front door. Then, the suspects took several tools from the establishment, the APD said Monday.
Another burglary occurred at NAPA Auto Parts at 2401 Sylvester Road. It was reported at 7 a.m. on Saturday, but could have happened as early as 6 p.m. Friday.
Forced entry was accomplished by the suspects through the front window, which was found broken when officers responded to the scene.
A master drill set was reported missing by the victims, the APD report said.
No information was given on likely suspects for either incident. Both cases remain under investigation.
