ALBANY, Ga. — The Darton College Military Resource Center will host a grand opening on Veterans Day Friday at an open house from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. with refreshments and giveaways.
At 11 a.m., the center will observe a moment of silence in remembrance of all who have died in service for our America’s freedom.
The Darton College Military Resource Center is dedicated to helping past, present, and future military members, along with their families, achieve their higher education goals.
The center provides student employment opportunities, information and referral, and an online community.
The center also advises the newly chartered Military Student Organization and chairs a Military Outreach Committee, composed of appointed faculty, staff, and students who review and recommend military friendly policies at Darton.
Darton College was recently names by G.I. Jobs magazine as a Military Friendly School for 2012.

The Military Resource Center is located in the Technology (A) Building, Room 132, in the Online Learning Division Suite, next to the computer lab.
