At Publix yesterday in the check-out line, the lady in front of me and behind me were on cell phones. How rude!

In my opinion, if you are on your cellphone, you are in no hurry to get waited on. I wonder how these people would survive if they lived in the times before they had telephones.

The sad part, they act like it is the biggest gesture they have ever done when they hang up. They will come in my office and make a call as they walk to the counter and then get peeved that I am not understanding what they want. I am not even sure if they are talking to me or the person on the phone. I had one lady tell me, "thank you for doing your job".... my response, "your welcome".
