ATLANTA -- The excitement of Georgia's high school football playoffs begins this weekend, and fans will have access to more games than ever before, thanks to the GHSA Network's School Broadcast Program.

Starting tonight, an unprecedented 16 games will be streamed live on GHSA.tv and available later on demand at www.GHSA.tv/footballplayoffs.

Locally, Southwest Georgia football fans can view Bainbridge's first-round GHSA Class AAAA playoff game at Ware County, as well as Seminole County's first-round Class A playoff game in Donalsonville against Bacon County and Colquitt County's game at home in Moultrie against East Coweta.

"Football playoffs are an exciting time in Georgia," said Mark Rothberg, Director of the PlayOn's School Broadcast Program. "Adding to the excitement this year are 15 student-led productions of their school's games, providing these teams and schools with a tremendous opportunity for exposure."

The GHSA Network's School Broadcast Program is part of the partnership between the GHSA and PlayOn! Sports. The School Broadcast Program allows participating schools in Georgia to produce and broadcast TV-like events for live and on demand viewing via the GHSA Network video portal at www.GHSA.tv.

Each school has an individual branded video portal that allows students to produce and distribute high quality events throughout the year, including regular-season sports, graduation, concerts, news programs, and other school activities. Each broadcast boasts TV-like features, including graphic overlays, scoring, sponsor graphics, and video commercial breaks.

PlayOn! Sports is the largest rights holder, producer, and aggregator of high school sports events distributed across television, the Internet, and IP-video enabled mobile devices. By combining State Athletic Associations' postseason content with the regular season events of member schools, PlayOn provides marketers with a unique multi-media platform solution to reach teens, young adults and families. PlayOn is headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., with offices in the Southeast and Midwest. For more information, contact PlayOn! Sports at infoplayonsports.com, or visit www.playonsports.com.
