Squawk of the day - Nov. 15, 2011

"Did the president honor our veterans on Veterans Day? I didn’t see anything on the news about it. I did, however, see him paying homage to Penn State and Joe Paterno. He can honor a college and coach who not only condones child sexual abuse but also covers it up."

Last Friday Obama was at North Carolina v.s. Michigan State basketball game on the Carl Vinson Naval Ship, and before the game started, he honored the troops. So get the facts right before you make an ignorant squawk, which most of the squawks are ignorant so you just joined the club, congratulations.

Squawker asked a question. Perhaps there was an unspoken accusation that Obama had not done anything to honor our troups. Hopefully, squawker appreciates the info. Does sticking your tongue out also give you a sense of superiority?

This is the most idiotic squawk, this squawker needs to stop squawking and the herald needs to pic better squawks of the day! Sheesh!

Don't confuse a re-election campaign appearance at a basketball game with an attempt to honor troops.

Does anyone actually think Obama was honoring the troops? All he was doing was trying to rally up a few more votes.

I believe he laid a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier at Arlington as well. He is of course, running for reelection. It is rather clear that he has no love for US troops. I think he resents that he does not have the bond that George W. Bush had with the troops.

if you voted for obama last time to prove you're not racist...vote for somebody else next time to prove you're not an idiot...

This is one of the best comments I've ever read on the Herald. You should squawk this tomorrow.
