CAMILLA -- Anthony Bruce Varnum, 51, of Leary, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Willson Hospice House in Albany.
Graveside funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 19 at Patmos Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Alligood and Rev. James Marvin McDaniel will officiate.
Pallbearers include Raymond Gibson, Corey Gibson, Michael Varnum, Drew Varnum, Wallace Hay, Wally Hay, Charles Kimbrell, Nate Nolf.
Born July 25, 1960 in Colquitt, Mr. Varnum was a farmer and a member of Patmos Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Hay Varnum of Leary; a son, Anthony Ryan Varnum of Leary; a daughter, Maria Young and husband, Chris, of Leary; two grandchildren; Hayden Rish and Ethan Young and a granddaughter due in February, Lily Anne Marie; parents, Carroll and Betty Smith Varnum of Edison; grandmother, Emma Smith of Colquitt; two brothers, Charles Varnum and wife, Denise, of Edison and Mike Varnum and wife, Alicia, of Edison; a sister, Rhonda Gibson and husband, Raymond, of Bluffton.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m., Friday, November 18 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
