ALBANY -- A 37-year-old Albany man reported missing nearly two weeks ago has turned up.
Albany Police Department spokeswoman Phyllis banks said Tuesday that officers had caught up with John Paul Biddar on Monday at 8:50 a.m.
He was found dwelling near a Dumpster at 2538 Old Dawson Road.
Biddar was reported missing by his mother on Nov. 11. The woman told APD that Biddar was supposed to leave on a bus traveling from Albany to Darien -- located in McIntosh County nearly 180 miles east of Albany -- but had never arrived.
A lookout was placed for Biddar by local law enforcement authorities.
Prior to his disappearance, Biddar had last been seen at the Jameson Inn on Dawson Road. He had checked out of the hotel on the same day, officials from the APD said.
There was concern regarding Biddar's whereabouts, in part, because he has a liver condition that may have required medical assistance.
Biddar was released shortly after being located and returned to his family. He was found uninjured, Banks said.
