Lee County Sheriff makes marijuana and Xanax arrest

LEESBURG - Responding to a father’s call that his son may be suicidal, Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies entered a home at the end of a dirt road at 1742 State Highway 195 Tuesday.

Jonah Hudson, 22, was found safe but in possession of Xanax pills, marijuana plants and about 3 ounces of dried marijuana, Lee Sheriff Reggie Rachals said. The Xanax, a restricted, psychoactive drug, was not in a prescription bottle, Rachals added.

Hudson is charged with manufacture of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and possession of tools in the commission of a crime.
