ALBANY — Diego Martinez was arrested after Albany Police Department officers responded to a call about a 1:15 p.m. fight between two intoxicated men on the 200 block of Morningside Drive, a police report stated.
“The victim, Edwardo Lopez, stated that the suspect (Martinez) came into the house, put him in a head lock and then cut his arm. All parties were intoxicated,” said Phyllis Banks, police spokeswoman. Matinez was arrested and booked into Dougherty County Jail on aggravated assault charges, she added. Lopez was taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, the report stated. His condition was not immediately known.
