BLAKELY -- Mrs. Virginia Beason Sasser, 82, of Arlington, Ga., died early Friday morning at her childhood home. Her funeral will be a Graveside Service Sunday afternoon, Oct. 9, 2011 in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Arlington with Rev. Debbie Cone officiating. The family is gathering at the home of Ginger Gleaton, 329 Dogwood Ave. in Arlington.
Mrs. Sasser was the retired owner of a Retail Flower & Gift Shop in Arlington, a member of the Arlington United Methodist Church and had been attending the Gate Worship Center in Arlington. She was also an active supporter of the Emmaus Community and the Kairos of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents: Dr. Willie Beason and Leila Branch Beason; a son; Ted Sasser and by a sister, Angeline Beason.
She is survived by a daughter, Ginger S. Gleaton of Bluffton, SC, 5 grandchildren: Tommy Sasser of Panama City, Fl., Angel Benton & Adam of Blakely, Ga., Spring Minick & Billy of Richland, Ga., Eric Gleaton & Jeannine of Savannah, Ga. and Liza Marchant & Darrick of Richlands, N. C. There are also 12 great grandchildren.
