This photo was cleaned up with computer enhancement software so the robber of the Albany Federal Employee Credit Union may be more easily identified.
ALBANY — In an effort to catch the gunman who held up a local credit union, police released enhanced robbery suspect photographs Thursday.
A masked gunman dressed in black pointed a gun and demanded money from the staff at the Albany Federal Employee Credit Union at about 9:40 a.m. Wednesday. Credit union employees handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the robber ran away from the 217 Johnson Road office.
Pictures from the credit union surveillance tape were fuzzy, but police forensics personnel cleaned them up with computer enhancement software so they would be more useful, APD spokeswoman Phyllis Banks said.
Banks added that it looks like the robber is wearing a distinctive style of Addidas shoes in one of the photos. The robber may have run to a white or beige four-door sedan to get away.
The suspect is described as a black man, about 5 feet, 8 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was dressed in all black with a long-sleeved shirt, pants and ski mask.
Anyone with additional information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS (8477) or investigations at (229) 431-3288. The Spanish-speaking APD-COP Tip Line is (229) 434-2677.

Even with all the "cleaning up and computer enhancement" ahhhh, no one can tell who that is, how do you know hes black.. he covered form head to toe and his hands actually look light in that video or are those gloves?? And his "distinctive Addadis" shoes.. if you go to any high school in Dougherty County, you will see those shoes.
