ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 34 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Three cases of public indecency, saggy pants, on the 700 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Drunken driving on the 700 block of Whitney Avenue;
— Burglaries on the 2800 block of Palmyra Road and the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle;
— Theft by taking on the 1000 block of Wingate Avenue;
— Theft by conversion on the 1800 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Entering autos on the 900 block of Ninth Avenue and the 100 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Armed robbery, no injuries reported, on the 500 block of West Residence Avenue;
— Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault on the 1000 block of Cedar Avenue;
— Simple battery on the 2500 block of North Hilltop Drive;
— Injured person on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;
— Simple battery (domestic) on the 800 block of Cranford Drive;
— Domestic disturbance on the 2500 block of East Alberson Avenue;
— Assault, cruelty to children (domestic), on the 1900 block of Riverview Circle.
ALBANY FIRE: Albany firefighters responded to eight calls Wednesday, including a fire prevention program, a cat in a tree, unattended cooking, electrical short, activated alarm, air conditioner problem, recreational vehicle fire and a kitchen fire.
